Mormon Stories
You aren’t alone. There are so many people, who, like you, are a little unsure about the LDS Church.
John Dehlin at Mormon Stories is one of my personal heroes. He interviews Latter-day Saints from all backgrounds, on a spectrum of beliefs, and he makes you feel like there’s someone out there who gets it.
His podcasts are great. His interviews are terrific. His segments with Mike, from LDS Discussions, are phenomenal. Those segments talk specifically about the parts of early Church History that aren’t quite the way that we learned them.
LDS Discussions
Mike from LDS Discussions is another hero of mine. He thoroughly researched and posted several essays tackling a number of Church History issues. They are clear and concise and consistent, and they make that apologetic sea a lot easier to swim in.
CES Letter
The CES Letter is infamous. You’ve probably heard of it.
If you haven’t already, you should give it a read. It tackles Church History issues in a quick format. It’s easy to understand, and it’s provides a foundation for more questions.
Mormon Discussion
The Mormon Discussion Network contains several podcasts that have been useful and entertaining to me, and to so many other questioning members. Bill Reel and RFM are fantastic, and their guests offer lots of useful information.
Year of Polygamy
Lindsay Hansen-Park’s “Year of Polygamy” podcast is an excellent source for someone wanting to learn more about polygamy in the early Church.
There are so many others. Please explore! Find your own answers! It’s all going to be okay.
